William Johnson

William was born in 1600 in Hern Hill, Canterbury, Kent, England. William's father was John Johnson and his mother was Hannah Throckmorton. His maternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Throckmorton and Elizabeth Berkeley. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Abraham, Edward, Solomon and Mary. He was the third youngest of the six children.
