Phoebe Jeffreys 
Phoebe was born in 1820 in Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1850.1 Phoebe's father was Robert Jeffreys and her mother was Pharaby Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Frances Langston. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Murphy, Absolom Carmordy, Mariah, Edna, Betsy and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
