Absolom Carmordy Jeffreys 
Absolom Carmordy was born in 1841 in Orange Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1850.1 Absolom Carmordy's father was Robert Jeffreys and his mother was Pharaby Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Frances Langston. He had a brother and five sisters, named Murphy, Phoebe, Mariah, Edna, Betsy and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children.1 General Notes
