David R. Houser 
David R. was born on January 10th, 1839 in York Co, SC and his baptism took place in Census 1860.1 David R.'s father was Henry Houser and his mother was Faithy Jones. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Jones and Faithy Roberts. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John T., Henry Robertson, Cyrus Johnson, Jane Christina, Nancy Jane, Eliza, Faithy L. and Harriet Hannah. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 25 on August 4th, 1864. He was buried in Howser Cemetery, Blacksburg, Cherokee Co, SC.General Notes
