Melvin William was born on December 25th, 1910 in Muhlenberg Co, KY. Melvin William's father was John Melvin Higgs and his mother was Mary Carrie Worthington. His paternal grandparents were Moody C. Higgs and Nancy Jane Decker. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George Henry, Robert Emit, Maybelle, Ethel L., Anna J. and Lou Jane. He died at the age of 83 on February 9th, 1994 in Rumsey, Mclean Co, KY.General Notes
