Wesley Eldon was born on February 15th, 1914 in Kanorado, Sherman Co. Kansas.1 Wesley Eldon's father was *Joseph Henry Hayward and his mother was *Eva Elysbeth Mackey. His maternal grandparents were *William Piatte Mackey and * Leona Nancy Logan. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Fred, Arthur Edward, Joseph Wayne, George Jay, *Viola Mae and Ione Thelma. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
