Mary Jane HIGHFIELD 
Mary Jane was born in July 1835 in Mason Co., Kentucky.1 Mary Jane's father was John HIGHFIELD and her mother was Catherine APPLEGATE. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin APPLEGATE and Hannah PETERS. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Abner, Alfred, John, Catherine and Margaret. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Perry, Sarah A., Clarinda C. and Paulina. She died at the age of 63 on January 14th, 1899.2 -
