Robert Alan Givens 
Robert Alan was born on December 30th, 1824 in Kentucky. Robert Alan's father was John Thompson Givens and his mother was Isabella Givens. His maternal grandparents were Eleazar Givens and Jane "Jenny" Robertson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Eleazar S., William Douglas, John Thompson, Thomas Kerry, Jerome James, Jane Robertson and Mary E.. He was the oldest of the eight children.General Notes
