Sarah Elizabeth was born on April 24th, 1861 in Montezuma, Poweshiek Co., Iowa.1 Sarah Elizabeth's father was Thomas Bosley GORSUCH and her mother was Margaret Ann MURROW. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Lewis MURROW and Sarah BLUE. She had four brothers and four sisters, named David, John Joshua, Daniel Thomas, Charles Wesley, Martha Ellen, Rebecca Emeline, Laura Dorcas and Verna Edith. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
