Honor was born in 1587 in Of, Brightley, Devonshire, England and her baptism took place on March 31st, 1587 in Chittlehampton. Honor's father was John GIFFORD and her mother was Honor EARLE. Her paternal grandparents were John GIFFORD and Mary GRANVILLE. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Arthur, Thomas, William, John, Joan, Maria, Margaret, Elizabeth and Alice.
