James Andrew was born on December 5th, 1844 in Barren County, KY. James Andrew's father was Joseph H Foster and his mother was Celine Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Susanna Higdon. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph B., William Thomas and Susan E.. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Johnathan John V. B., Elzie V., Elvin P. or B., Dr Robert Allen "R A", Cyrus Mosely, Nancy Alphratta and Mary A. He died at the age of 81 on July 22nd, 1926 in Cave City, Barren, Kentucky, USA.-
