Elizabeth Ann was born in 1817 in Barren, Kentucky, United States. Elizabeth Ann's father was Bartlett Foster and her mother was Susanna Higdon. Her paternal grandparents were James Parish Foster and Martha (Patsy) HUMPHREY. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph H, James Ward, Holeman Rice, A R, Elmore P, Mary Jane and Susan P. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 1 in 1818.-
