Count Arnold Flanders II (Arnolph II of Boulogne, Arnulph of Flanders) 
Arnold was born in December 0961 in Flanders, France.1 Arnold's father was Count Baudouin of Flanders III and his mother was Mathilde Saxony. His paternal grandparents were Arnoul I Flanders and Alix de Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Duke of Saxony Hermann Billung Saxony and Hildegardis von Westerburg. He had a brother and a sister, named Jean and Bertha. He was the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Gottfried, Gozelon, Frederick, Herman, Adelaide, Regilla, Gerberge and Ermengarde. He died at the age of 25 on March 30th, 0987 in Chapel de St. Laurent, France.1 -
