Thane of Northumbria Ecgfrith (Uchtred)

Ecgfrith was born in 0990 in Northumberland, England.¹   Ecgfrith's father was Earl of Northumbria Waltheof and his mother was Elfeda.  His paternal grandparents were High Reeve de Bamburgh Osulf and <Unknown>. He had two brothers named The Bold and Eadulf I.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died due to murder / assassination, murdered by Thornbrand, at the age of 28 in 1018 in Northumbria, England.¹
