Redman Dye

Redman was born in 1838.¹ Redman's father was Ramey Dye and his mother was Mildred Maxine Grigsby. His paternal grandparents were Avery Dye and Sarah "Sally" Puckett. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Avery, John, Edward, Reuben, Rebecca, Charlotte, Dorcas and Rhoda. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
