Avery Dye

Avery was born in 1825.¹ Avery's father was Ramey Dye and his mother was Mildred Maxine Grigsby. His paternal grandparents were Avery Dye and Sarah "Sally" Puckett. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, Reuben, Redman, Rebecca, Charlotte, Dorcas and Rhoda. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
