Mary Frances Durham (Margaret) 
Mary was born on May 5th, 1752 in Butte County, North Carolina.1 Mary's father was William Durham and her mother was Margaret Colclough. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Durham and Mary Riggan; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Colclough and Rachel Bolling. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Samuel, James, Jane and Susannah. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.-
