James B. Durham

James was born in 1760 in Fauquier Co., Virginia.¹ James' father was William Durham and his mother was Margaret Colclough. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Durham and Mary Riggan; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Colclough and Rachel Bolling. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Samuel, Jane, Mary and Susannah. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
