Otis A. was born on September 4th, 1869 in Indiana. Otis A.'s father was Jonathan DAVEE and his mother was Martha Ann KENT. His maternal grandparents were William KENT and Elizabeth NORMAN. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Van Couver, John W., Hiram T., Harrison, Charles, Elvira, Margaret, Martha, Nancy J. and Alice May. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
