Squire Crume 
Squire was born on July 17th, 1798 in Nelson Co., Kentucky.1 Squire's father was Phillip Daniel Crume and his mother was Anna Bonehart Barrett. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Crume (Croome) and Elizabeth Brooks. He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Margaret, Nancy and Keziah. He was the youngest of the five children. He had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Ralph, Phillip, Daniel, Jesse, William, Moses, Isaac, Eunice, Susanna, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah.-
