Mary Crume 
Mary was born on March 15th, 1756 in Frederick Co., Virginia.1 Mary's father was Phillip Daniel Crume and her mother was Sarah Margaret Withers/Weathers. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Crume (Croome) and Elizabeth Brooks; her maternal grandparents were Ralph Withers and Patience/Margaret. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Ralph, Phillip, Daniel, Jesse, William, Moses, Isaac, Eunice, Susanna, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Squire, Margaret, Nancy and Keziah.-
