Margaret Crichton 
Margaret was born about 1502 in Sanquhar Castle, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was 7th Laird of Sanquhar Sir Robert Crichton and her mother was Marion Maxwell. Her paternal grandparents were 6th Laird of Sanquhar Sir Robert Crichton and Marion Stuart. She had two brothers named John and Robert. She was the youngest of the three children. She died in 1535 in Lochinvar Castle, Kirkcudbrightsh, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.-
