Baxter Snyder was born on December 17th, 1907 in Pittsylvania Co, VA.1 Baxter Snyder's father was Baxter Snyder Cox and his mother was Mary Lee Clark. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pinkney Cox and Martha Susan Joyce. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Claiborne Drewery, Patrick Henry, William Woodrow, Mary Lenora, Virginia Myrtle and Florence Deitrich.
