Charles Fleming Coombs 
Charles was born on September 3rd, 1867 in Hardin County, Kentucky.1 Charles' father was Isham Coombs and his mother was Martha (Patsy) Ann Cash. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Coombs and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Warren Thompson Cash and Katherine Duvall. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Warren, Samuel, Ben, Isham, William, Richard, Gabriel, Adin, Donna and Betsy. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on April 30th, 1950 in Carroll, Kentucky.2 Death Notes

Text: C.F. Coombs, 82, a lifelong resident of Carrollton and Trimble Co, died yesterday at 2 pm at his home on Sixth St. in Carrollton. Mr. Coombs lived and farmed in Trimble Co for many years and also spent some in a grocery business in Carrollton. He was retired at the time of his death. Survivors, besides his wife, Ida May Coombs, are a number of nieces and newphews. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the family home on Sixth St. with burial in Carrollton Cemetery.
