Fred Noel Coleman 
Fred Noel was born on January 27th, 1915.1 Fred Noel's father was Fred Coleman and his mother was Susan Charlotte Shipley. His maternal grandparents were William Nathan Shipley and Elmira Gothard. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Frank Marvin, Harold Clark, Hayden Wendell, Eula Charlotte, Kathleen Lucille and Majorie Ellen. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 29 on April 15th, 1944 in Burma, India. He was buried in National Cemetery, Honolulu, , Hawaii, USA.1 General Notes
Fred Noel Coleman was born the 27th of January, 1915. He married Willie Mae Martin. He died the 15th of April, 1944 in Burma, India during World War II. It was said he saved the lives of other soldiers by throwing himself on a hand grenade that landed near their foxhole. He is buried in the National Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii. Willie Mae later married ______ Plemins.
