Sir Robert Clifton

Robert was born in 1404 in Clifton, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ Robert's father was Sir Gervase George Clifton and his mother was Isabella Francis. His paternal grandparents were John Clifton and Catherine de Cressey; his maternal grandparents were Sir Robert Francis and Isabell Bernchard. He had a brother named Gervasus. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 74 on April 7th, 1478.²
