Buford Douglas was born on June 30th, 1919 in Hopkins Co, KY. Buford Douglas' father was James Walter Clayton and his mother was Valuar Delaney Bowles. His maternal grandparents were Jesse Bowles and Caroline D. Rhew. He had two sisters named Ada Lucille and Mae Eveline. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 54 on September 29th, 1973 in Union Co, KY.General Notes
