Granville Martin Cary 
Granville Martin was born on August 5th, 1873 in TN and his baptism took place in Census 1920.1 Granville Martin's father was William W. Cary and his mother was Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cary and Elizabeth Roberts. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named James Benjamin, Oliver Columbus, Silas Henry, George W., Robert N., William Wiley, Jeremiah, Albert Riley, Grisey Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Eliza Ann, Martha E., Nancy Callie and Cynthia J.. He was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children. He had five half-brothers named Alexander, Felix, Elbert, Thomas and Pique. He died at the age of 71 on October 9th, 1944. He was buried in October 1944 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.1 1 General Notes
