James Hardy Bryant 
James Hardy was born on November 17th, 1881. James Hardy's father was James Thomas "Tommy" Bryant and his mother was Annette "Nettie" Rebecca Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Roberts Bryant and Mary Ann Butler. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Guy Octavius, Leo Neal, Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie", Hattie Lena, Eunice Cornelia and Ida Allie. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 34 on September 24th, 1916 in Barksdale, Edwards County, Texas.General Notes
