James A. Bryant 
James A. was born about 1865 in Texas. James A.'s father was Claiborne Roberts Bryant and his mother was Mary Ann Berry. His paternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. He had four brothers and a sister, named Clay, Frank, Albert C., John and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty". He was the third youngest of the six children.General Notes
