Ruth Browning

Ruth was born in 1736 in Jamestown, James City, Virginia.¹ Ruth's father was Francis Browning and her mother was Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Rachel Merritt; her maternal grandparents were William Lloyd and Mary Ann Crowley. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Frank, Nicholas, John, Edmond, Caleb, Jacob, Joshua, Mary and Amanda.
