Amanda Browning

Amanda was born about 1740 in Culpeper County, Virginia.¹ Amanda's father was Francis Browning and her mother was Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Rachel Merritt; her maternal grandparents were William Lloyd and Mary Ann Crowley. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Frank, Nicholas, John, Edmond, Caleb, Jacob, Joshua, Mary and Ruth.
