Sanford Brent 
Sanford was born on July 5th, 1800 in Washington Co., Kentucky.1 Sanford's father was William Brent and his mother was Elizabeth Simmons. His paternal grandparents were William Brent and Hannah Neale; his maternal grandparents were William Simmons and <Unknown>. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Eliza, Nancy, Adeline, Sarah, Martha and Matilda. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
