Martha Brent 
Martha was born in 1812 in Washington Co., Kentucky.1 Martha's father was William Brent and her mother was Elizabeth Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were William Brent and Hannah Neale; her maternal grandparents were William Simmons and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Sanford, John, Eliza, Nancy, Adeline, Sarah and Matilda. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
