Catherine Babington

Catherine was born in 1518 in Dethick, Derbyshire, England. Catherine's father was Sir Anthony Babington and her mother was Catherine De Ferrers. Her maternal grandparents were Sir John De Ferrers and Maud Stanley. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Edward, Bernard, John and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the six children.
