Rachel was born in Orange Co., VA.. Rachel's father was Jacob Francis Browning and her mother was Elizabeth BYWATERS. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, George, Edmund Lloyd, Jacob, Lloyd, Mary, Sarah S., Delilah, Elizabeth Jane, Edith, Jennie, Nelly and Annie. She died on September 10th, 1839 in Arkansas.General Notes
