Mary was born in 1764 in Culpeper Co., VA.. Mary's father was Jacob Francis Browning and her mother was Elizabeth BYWATERS. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, George, Edmund Lloyd, Jacob, Lloyd, Sarah S., Delilah, Elizabeth Jane, Edith, Jennie, Nelly, Annie and Rachel. She was buried in Prob.
