Nancy was born on April 14th, 1793 in Greene Co., GA.. Nancy's father was Joshua BROWNING Sr. and her mother was Margaret RANKIN. Her paternal grandparents were John Browning and Elizabeth DEMAREST. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joshua R., John, Anne, Mary and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, James, Edmund Woodville, Jacob, John, Hannah, Annie, Mary Malinda and Jennie.-
