Elijah G. BROWNING 
Elijah G. was born in 1768 in Orange Co., N. C.. Elijah G.'s father was Caleb BROWNING Sr. and his mother was Alcey (Alcey). His paternal grandparents were Edmond Browning and ???? (Mrs. Edmund) BROWNING. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Toliver, Henry, Mildred Molly, Lucy and Jennie. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 72 on June 1st, 1840 in Howard Co., MO..General Notes

Power of Attorney - Toliver Browning, Henry Browning, John Flynn intermarried with Lucy Browning, Milla Browning, Jenney Browning to brother Elijah Browning to demand their part in legacy as heirs of Caleb Browning decd by last will & testament of Edmund Browning decd of Caswell Co, NC. Given from Clark Co, KY.
1811 COURT: Caswell Co, NC, WB F-162, Apr Court. Edmond Browning bequeathed to heirs of Caleb Browning. Elijah Browning for himself and attorney for Toliver, Henry Browning, John Flynn and his wife Lucy, Molley and Jenney Browning children and heirs of Caleb Browning.
1811 COURT: Caswell Co, NC, WB F-201. Power of attorney: Toliver Browning, Henry Browning, John Flynn intermarried with Lucy Browning, Milley Browning and Jenney Browning to Elijah Browning their Brother to receive legacy left them as heirs of Caleb Browning decd, by will of Edmund Browning decd. of Caswell Co, NC. approved by Wm. McMillan and D Hampton, JP's of Clark Co, KY. 27 Sep 1810.

Elijah Browning moved to Kentucky in 1780 with family after the Revolutionary War.
When his father Caleb Browning moved back to VA, Elijah and brothers stayed in KY.
