Wheatley Anscell 
Wheatley was born in 1560 in Great Barford, Bedfordshire, England.1 Wheatley's father was Thomas Anscell and his mother was Elizabeth Wheatley. His paternal grandparents were Edward Anscell and Wethlyan Powell; his maternal grandparents were Robert Powell Wheatley and Catherine Fyssher. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Nicholas, Oliver, Thomas, Agnes, Rose, Mary, Temperance, Elizabeth, Anne and Anscell. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
