Martha Lucinda was born on January 2nd, 1892 in Bowie Co, Texas, USA. Martha Lucinda's father was James Jefferson (Jim) Allen and her mother was Martha Christina (Mattie) Akin. Her maternal grandparents were Collin McKinney Akin and Lucinda Frances Pinkerton. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Willie or Willis; Papa Allen, James Dabney, Davy, Fred, James Jefferson, M G, Leta, Cornelia and Mary Roena. She died at the age of 79 on December 10th, 1971 in Bowie Co, Texas, USA. She was buried in Antioch Cemetery, Hooks, Bowie Co, Texas, USA; now on grounds of Lone Star Ammunition Plant.-
