Joseph Allen 
Joseph was born in 1872.1 Joseph's father was Isaac Milton Allen and his mother was Nancy Katherine Dye. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Allen and Nancy Harris; his maternal grandparents were Fauntleroy R. Dye and Jiney Durham. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, James, George, John, Douglas, Bluford, Maria, Alice, Sally and Jane.-
