Gertrude Ethel (Granny Clark) Allen 
Gertrude Ethel, known as Granny Clark, was born on June 8th, 1904 in Hooks, Bowie Co, Texas, USA. Granny Clark's father was Willis (Willie or Willis; Papa Allen) Allen and her mother was Ethel Ethenia (Mama Allen) Lynn. Her paternal grandparents were James Jefferson (Jim) Allen and Martha Christina (Mattie) Akin. She had a brother and five sisters, named William Arthur, Jessie Christina, Frankie Esther, Nelia May, Jane and Tommie Lynn. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 95 on January 17th, 2000 in Austin, Travis Co, Texas, USA. She was buried on January 20th, 2000 in Hancock Cemetery, Austin, Travis Co, Texas.-
