Carolyn was born on March 6th, 1869.  Carolyn's father was Nikolaus Setter and her mother was Elizabeth Tuer.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Setter and Catharine Klein; her maternal grandparents were John Tuer and Elizabeth Gray. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Johannes Peter, Jacob, Nicholas, Westly, Henry Highdorn, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary Katherine, Margere A. and Almeada.  She died at the age of 61 on November 6th, 1930 in Valley Center, Sanilac County, Michigan.
