Nikolaus Setter 
Nikolaus was born on May 31st, 1839 in Zilingen, Lorraine, France . Nikolaus' father was Jacob Setter and his mother was Catharine Klein. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Peter, Valentine, Jacob C., Catherine and Carolyn. He died at the age of 70 on March 13th, 1910 in Flynn Township, Sanilac County, Michigan. Entry Haldimand 25 017 A 3 46 26. He is listed in the 1861 census and the 1861 agricultural census.
Settled in Sanilac County Flynn Township, Michigan. Raised 11 children and he was a farmer and land owner, He died of pnhumonia at age 70 and 10 months.
