Mary Ann was born in 1839.1   Mary Ann's father was Burr S. Nash and her mother was Harriet Chubbs.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Nash and Mary Squire. She had two brothers and five sisters, named David, Joseph Burr, Harriet, Sarah, Mary Ann, Caroline Ann and Louisa.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 4 in 1843.1
