John McRolly Mew 
John McRolly was born about 1869 in Beaufort Dist., SC.1 John McRolly's father was John Elias Mew and his mother was Sarah Ann Winifred Bowers. His paternal grandparents were Samuel K. Mew and Eliza Maria Dozier. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William Aiken, Joseph Frederick, Vera Clementine, Eliza Rebecca, Olive Dell, Alma Blanche, Annie Augusta and Myrtle Dorothy. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died in 1922.1 -
