Chistine was born about 1840.1   Chistine's father was Joseph Lozon and her mother was Nancy Pelotte. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Pierre, Alexander, Gabriel, William, Edmond, Madeline, Mary Louise, Elizabeth and Eliza.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.1
