William Hurt

William was born in 1839 in Wayne, Kentucky.¹   William's father was John C Hurt and his mother was Frances Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joshua, Samuel, Moses, Ruben, Milly, Martha, Mary and Saphrona.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.¹
