Henry C. was born on November 12th, 1849 in Kentucky.1   Henry C.'s father was John L Banks and his mother was Hannah Wadkins.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Banks and Catherine Pruitt. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Alfred, Easter, Edy, Anna, Jane and Hannah.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 49 in 1898 in Kentucky.1
